Review Engagement Checklist

Organisation Name

1. Have you met with the organisation representative and determined, the members of the committee, any significant variances in the trading history of the organisation or prospective issues that the organisation is facing, any change in the organisations activities that should be noted

2. a) Has the organisations cashbook been reviewed and any variance or abnormal expenditure been noted?

2. b) If so, identify any variance and note the organisations response

3. a) All donations and grants have had accountabilities signed and returned?

3. b) The accounabilities have sufficient evidence to show that there is no potential refund required?

3. c) If not, please note the grants that need further action

4. a) The client has supplied work papers to support the balance sheet items?

4. b) If work papers have not been supplied, has sufficient external evidence been provided to ensure that the reviewer can construct work papers to confirm closing balance sheet items

4. c) Any missing workpapers identified

5. a) Has there been any significant increase in expenditure during the year? As a general rule, this would be around a 25% increase on a year to year comparison

5. b) Any increase in expenses has been examined and identified with the following explanation
