JENNY JOYNT - Client Manager, Tokoroa


Jenny has been involved in the accounting scene in Tokoroa since 2001, starting out with McCulloch and Lally which was merged into Matley in 2010 – bringing Jenny along with it. Jenny is a fantastic team member and friendly face when you pop in to the Tokoroa office, which any client will attest to.  She has long-standing relationships with her clients and a steady approach to work that makes her a model employee. Jenny is proud of our role in the community as Accountants to several local charities. Outside of work, Jenny is a keen Disc Golf player - ranking 1st in New Zealand for her age group! (Similar to Golf but played with a Frisbee disc).  Jenny also loves spending time with her family and regular tramping trips.

JANINE PARK - Client Manager, Tokoroa

Janine is another long-standing member of the Tokoroa Accounting scene, joining Matley in 2011.  Janine is a qualified Accounting Technician with a Diploma in Business Studies and 30+ years experience. She enjoys her long-standing relationships with Matley clients and seeing their businesses grow and flourish through the difficulties of operating in a small community. Janine has seen her children grow within the community. Her son, Leslie and daughter, Jassy, have now completed their time at high school and are onto their next ventures. Outside of work, Janine plays Indoor Bowls.

RANGI RIKA - Client Manager, Tokoroa

Rangi joined the Matley Whānau in 2023, and is based in our Tokoroa office. She completed her studies in 2021 and worked for a small firm in Tauranga in 2022 before arriving at Matley. She has a passion to thrive in Accounting & hopes to begin her journey towards becoming a Chartered Accountant in the near future. She & her partner Jamie have been together for 18 years and they have four children. She enjoys learning Te Reo Māori, diving for kai moana with her partner, renovating their home, attending concerts & hanging out with her whānau & friends.

HAMISH EVANS - Client Manager, Hamilton

Hamish started at Matley in 2016 to assist in his part-time studies at Wintec. He works with clients for the best results in completing compliance obligations and making sure everything is up to date . He has won many of the staff members over by arriving with a cup of coffee just at the right time of the afternoon! Hamish enjoys tending to his growing number of Aquarium pets and spends his weekends with his Fiancé, Tayla, and family, enjoying a mix of camping adventures and travel.

MATTHEW DRUETT - Client Manager, Hamilton


Matthew joined the Matley team in 2020 as "the intern" then moved into an Accountant role when he graduated with a Bachelor of Business at the University of Waikato. He is currently studying towards his Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accountancy. When Matthew isn't studying, he loves golf, DIY renovations and restoring vintage Japanese Yachts.

NICOLE KILDARE - Accounts Reviewer

Nicole joined Matley in 2021 from a Big4 audit role looking for a better work/life balance as a mum to two little people.  As well as having audit experience she is a qualified Accounting Technician and Accountant, working towards ticking off her chartered accountancy requirements. Nicole has two degrees and a range of financial and managerial experience across local government, small business and large multi-nationals and has had incredibly diverse careers ranging from running tours in the middle east, managing a large rural animal control team and a short but insightful time as a Probation officer. As a competitive dressage rider she is passionate about wellness, fitness and nutrition.


After living in Whangarei, Naira has recently returned to Hamilton where she was born and raised. She joins the Matley team as a Junior Accountant after graduating from Massey University with a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting. She is excited to begin her journey towards becoming a Chartered Accountant. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband Jimmy, their three children and returning to the winterless North whenever they can.

DIANA PHILLIPS - Client Manager, Christchurch


Diana operates out of our Matley Christchurch Office alongside Richard, Cyril and Gael.  Diana has been working with her clients since 2005 as an Accountant for Cyril Childs Chartered Accountants and became a part of the Matley Group in 2019.  Diana has over 35 years’ experience working in both Commercial and Public Practice roles so she is well versed at how business works from both our side and yours.  Diana and Gael like to pop on their walking shoes at lunch time to enjoy beautiful Christchurch and on weekends you will find Diana walking the Port Hills or Hagley Park before enjoying a well-deserved coffee!

GAEL HANSBY - Client Manager, Christchurch


Gael has worked in both large and small CA firms, including the last 13 years with Cyril Childs Chartered Accountant Limited. She also worked at the Christchurch City Council for five years in one of their Policy Units.

She is married to Michael and they have two adult sons.  After work and family commitments she enjoys being outside walking. Her favourite holiday destination is the Amalfi Coast in Italy for the fabulous scenery and food.
